Kaláka's productions for children are inseparable from the rest of their generation-spanning work. Their first children's album, A pelikán, was released in 1985 and was to become Kaláka's first gold album. Several albums followed, including Az én szívemben boldogok a tárgyak, Bőrönd Ödön, Ukulele, Madáretető and Nálatok laknak-e állatok? And as we all know, each one is a classic in its own right. The secret to the extraordinary success of their concerts, on the other hand, lies not only in their brilliant songs and lyrics, but also in how they manage to draw children into their performances. Each of the band's members attended the Zsuzsanna Lórántffy Primary Music School, later named for Zoltán Kodály, and so each of them became a conscious practitioner of the Kodály method. But until now, they've never attempted such a children's production as they're now preparing. On the occasion of band's 50th year, they have given their favourite children's songs an entirely new look. From among these songs, Samu Gryllus has orchestrated an hour-long symphonic programme to be performed by the Miskolc Symphony Orchestra.

Our offer

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.

What happens when the worst traits of a power-hungry prince incapable of resisting earthly pleasures, a morally corrupt, vengeful, manipulative woman, and a desire-driven but highly impressionable teenage girl all erupt at the same time upon the appearance of a holy man?

Minden idők egyik legkedveltebb romantikus története, az ikonikus film sikeréhez méltó, musicalként születik újjá a Madách Színház színpadán.
