This is Shakespeare-year. We are happily obliged to bow our heads as we undertake the dance theatre adaptation of this ever-precious piece. This piece is a message from the past. The story of Prospero can be imagined as the story of a man living today. Our performance takes place on the island of The Tempest, where the worlds of the intellectual and the instinctive collide. On Prospero’s island anything may happen; dreams, desires, creation. Our Prospero, who has created his own social order in the solitude of the island, is ready to override his decisions, in order to give the next generation the treasure of magic that can make the future more human and give quality to human relations.
