Born into a family of Cuban musicians, Elsa Valle, who has been living in Hungary for a long time, is a great favourite with the public. The grand dame of Afro and Latin jazz in Hungary enchants audiences not only with her unbridled energy, but also with her captivatingly open, direct personality, full of joie de vivre. Her style combines traditional Cuban singing, bebop and improvisation, and her repertoire is complex in rhythm and melody. Elsa's concerts are characterised by a dynamic drive and an energetic, explosive performance style, which is the essence of her own compositions as well. This time, she comes to Opus with her band Afrocando; the lyrics, melodies and rhythms of the compositions will all reflect her experiences in concerts on different continents. This evening, however, Afrocando presents their repertoire from a different perspective. The instrumentation of the songs promises many surprises, as Elsa will form duos and trios from her band with a sure hand, or singing a cappella compositions, before the full band puts the fusion of jazz and Afro-rooted musical elements on fire.

Our offer

Zenei bravúr: Beethoven és Rachmaninov 3. zongoraversenyével tér vissza Balog József, aki főnixmadárként, betegségéből újjászületve varázsolja hatalmas ünneppé a Danubia szezonzáróját a Zeneakadémián.

Recirquel’s new production, Paradisum explores the myth of rebirth following the silence of a destroyed world, where the means of communication is the body, and the only common language is movement. The creatures of this idyllic existence unfold from the ever-changing, swirling natural forces of the ‘fabric of life’ that pulsates around them, so they can reach the anima mundi, the world soul, through scenes of purification, birth, awakening and ritual.

A parkoló igénybe vehető legkorábban az adott rendezvény napján, annak kezdete előtt másfél órával.
