IGLU – Improvisational Theatre of Ljubljana are Peter Frankl, Vid Sodnik and Juš Milčinski, three actors who joined forces into a performing crew with the intention for a professional approach to the improvisational arts. They perform regularly in Ljubljana, all around Slovenia and are becoming more and more active all across Europe and North America. The cast is proud to be a part of the European improv project Ohana and they are regular visitors of numerous international festivals where they teach, learn and perform. IGLU Theatre has performed in the Netherlands, Germany, Croatia, Serbia, France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Austria and different cities in Canada and the USA. But this is their first time performing in Hungary!
The IGLU boys will be joined by Sara Šoukal, one of Slovenia’s best and most active improvisers. Sara is the artistic director of the KUD Impromobile improvisational ensemble and a competitor in Impro liga, Slovenia’s improv championship. She teaches and performs regularly in Ljubljana and is also a proud member of the Ohana improv project.
The quartet will perform Greetings from Slovenia – an improvised longform, spiced with Slovenian stereotypes, passion, dedication, jealousy, love, modesty, hard work and a tendency to get drunk whenever a chance arises. So you’ll get to know your tiny neighbouring country… and yes, we are sure it’s Slovenia, not Slovakia!
The performance will be held in English.
