Dr. Sue Johnson: A New Light on Love
interactive lecture
19 May 2020, Tuesday 7:30pm-9:30pm
Dr. Sue Johnson is a professor at the University of Ottawa and is regarded today as one of the world's top leading couples therapists. She is the author of the acclaimed book on relationships entitled “Hold Me Tight! 7 Conversations for a Lifetime of Love” and the creator of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT focuses on the decisive role of our deep desire for attachment, along with providing a map and solutions to resolve our relationship conflicts.
Our need for attachment is a hidden motive in our behavior that we rarely openly accept. If you are struggling in your relationships, want to save your marriage, can't break out of loneliness, or just wish to hear thought-provoking examples about common fights between couples, then come and spend this special evening with encouraging thoughts, examples and useful insights from the speaker’s many years of experience as a therapist.
Due to the transition to online format, caused by the coronavirus epidemic, we will send an EFT self-knowledge and relationship-strengthening activity package of worth 4,000 HUF to all participants.
The lecture will be held in English, with simultaneous translation to Hungarian.
