An evening with Ukrainian refugees in Hungary, for refugees.

A joint evening of the Láthatáron Group and the Iván Fischer Apartment Theatre

On the eve of the anniversary of Russia's attack on Ukraine, we are organizing a cultural and social event. We invite Ukrainian artists living in Hungary to perform, Ukrainian refugees, volunteers, psychologists, social workers and journalists. We will initiate a conversation that will give a realistic picture for us about the life of the Ukranian refugees in Hungary, an opportunity for them to share their experience and for Hungarians to know how to provide assistance. Who are the Ukrainian refugees who are invisible but living with us? What are they doing, how have their lives changed? What is their goal now? What do they need? How can we reach them, how can we help them in a tangible way to deal with the trauma of migration? The evening will include readings, interviews, live classical music and personal testimonies.

The box office income of the evening will be used to help Ukrainian families in Hungary.
