This programme in itself is enough to promise a colourful evening, but will be made even more vibrant when heard played by the superb Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France under the baton of the outstanding Finnish conductor Mikko Franck, with the wonderful American violinist Hilary Hahn, a former child prodigy who has since developed into a great artist known for the magical poetry she brings to her music, appearing as the soloist!
