Sever is a film about the legendary warrior of Chinese myths, Guang Gong, and the magical beauty, Diaochan, created by New Zealand-born filmmaker David A. Harris, who currently lives in Shanghai. The composer and producer, who always attributed a special importance to music, collaborated with one of the most innovative artists of contemporary Chinese music, Zhu Ma. The music of Xi Ban’er and Zhu Ma blends two crucial stylistic trends of Beijing opera. The special music of the film will now be performed live at the Castle Garden Bazaar.
