On this November evening, the guitarist Mike Gotthard, who is equally receptive to the music of jazz, blues, rock and funk, will invite the audience into his own jazz-rock world where the instruments and melodies take centre stage. The main material for the show will come from Sensual Brutality, Gotthard's most recent solo album, though it will also feature well-known compositions from Intellectual Brutality, his first record. Gotthard's friends will be on hand to help shape his musical vision - the keyboardist Dániel Szebényi, his inseparable writing and musical companion, one of the best drummers in the universe in Gergő Borlai, and the inimitable bass guitar phenomenon Martin Gudics. If we're brutally honest, it's going to be great!
