You are welcome to visit the Christmas Concert of the Magnificat Girls’ Choir in the Matthias Church at 8 p.m, on the 15th of December 2015. The choir turning 25 this year, owning 8 Grand Prizes was awarded First Prize in the category of Modern Pieces and also won the
Audience Award in 2013 in Arezzo.

In 2014 it became the Category Winner in the XXVI Béla Bartók International Choir Competition and also won the Grand Prize. The Christmas Concerts always provide special experience for the audience. During these concerts, the choir has the opportunity to present its rich repertoire which includes a wide range starting from modern pieces through romantic works to Christmas carols.
The works of J.S. Bach, A. Adolph, Miskinis, E. Esenwalds and Hungarian composers L. Halmos, L. Bárdos, Miklós Kocsár, József Pintér, Zoltán Kodály, Péter Wolf will also be performed. A permanent accompanying musical instrument of the choir is the organ which will sound in several works and also individually during the night. Strings and percussion instruments will also variegate the programme, featuring Attila Bardóczy singer as well.
The choir led by Liszt-díjas Valéria Szebellédi conductress provides high-quality entertainment also emotional nourishment by creating intimate atmosphere.
