Kruder & Dorfmeister, the most important duo in the Viennese downtempo scene and one of the best-known pairs in general when it comes to slowed-down triphop and chill music, have returned to their most important release, the 1998 remix album The K&D Sessions, which is famous for the fact that - despite offering a cross-section of the electronic dance music of the era, ranging from Roni Siz to Depeche Mode and Lambig - the remixes here are essentially revisions built around vocal sound samples: all dub, nujazz, lounge versions reshaped in K&D's own image.
