Recirquel’s new production, Paradisum explores the myth of rebirth following the silence of a destroyed world, where the means of communication is the body, and the only common language is movement.
The 1924 silent film by Buster Keaton, the deadpan burlesque master of the stony face who always took extraordinary risks both as an actor and a director, will be screened before the Müpa audience on this occasion with improvised organ accompaniment.

Lírai dalszövegeivel, szüntelen kísérletezőkedvével és Bocskor Bíborka azonnal felismerhető, érzékeny előadásmódjával a Magashegyi Underground immár két évtizede a hazai alternatív pop egyik legeredetibb formációjának számít.
Although the concept behind the productions has always been a mature one, over the years the Ring has been rejuvenated within the framework of a constant idea and reborn in the details. Another permanent feature is the conducting method - one combining humanism with perfectionism - of music director Ádám Fischer.

It has been a long time since we thought of Cécile McLorin Salvant as merely the promising winner of the 2010 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition. Despite her young age, pages could be filled listing all the artists and festivals she has performed with and at since the age of nine. It was her father, also a bass player, who started her on her professional path, a journey which has so far brought her into contact with Steve Vai, Zakir Hussain, Quincy Jones, Vinnie Colaiuta, and Gergő Borlai.

Where does the compass point when the imagination is in control? Eszter Bíró’s latest show invites the whole family on a playful expedition: with songs and stories, we traverse continents and eras to discover the power that lies in curiosity and singing together. During the concert, the children’s clapping will find the rhythm, and their voices the melody while parents gather some new ideas for ways to weave music into everyday learning.
The organ, this instrument that is at once acoustic and mechanical in character, can evoke in us, through its sound alone or even merely on account of its sheer visual presence, a sense of vastness spanning immense distances. For this concert, however, the organ is joined by a saxophone and live electronics to blend elements of classical and contemporary music with jazz to produce an unclassifiable, improvisatory performance that makes this expansive horizon even more breathtaking than usual.
A rainbow of sounds from the orchestra, enigmatic dialogues and mysterious riddles. Not to mention a treacherous dwarf and a glorious young hero. Who after slaying a dragon and tasting its blood, is able to understand the prophetic singing of a bird. And then crosses through a wall of fire to discover both the woman who is his mate and, through his love for her, fear.
