Radnóti Miklós és Gyarmati Fanni belső világa elevenedik meg Vecsei H. Miklós és a zenészekből, képzőművészekből álló QJÚB nevű társulás koncertszínházi előadásában. A produkcióval Radnóti Miklós halálának 80. évfordulójára emlékezünk.

A Feledi Project új bemutatója Anton Pavlovics Csehov ikonikus drámájának motívumait kortárs mozdulatnyelven és élő jazz-zenével, a Sárik Péter Trió különleges hangzásvilágával értelmezi újra. A nosztalgia, az elengedés és az újrakezdés dilemmái nem szavakkal, hanem mozdulatokon, testemlékezeten és zenei improvizációkon keresztül szólalnak meg.

A band committed to modernising Indian classical music, Araj consists of five young musicians considered in their homeland to be the outstanding performers of their generation. Formed by tabla player Ishaan Ghosh, all members are virtuosos of their instruments (tabla, sitar, bamboo flute, sarangi) and vocal techniques, and their interplay breathes new life into the Indian classical tradition.

After recording operas by Rameau and his contemporaries, György Vashegyi now conducts Armide, the masterpiece by Louis XIV’s court composer, Jean-Baptiste Lully. Lully’s final lyric tragedy premiered in 1686 and was performed at the Paris Opera until 1766, when it was overshadowed by Gluck’s version of the story based on the same libretto.

The idea for The Nutcracker ballet came from theone-time director of the Tsarist theatre who, based on E.T.A. Hoffmann’s fairy tale entitled the Nutcracker and the Mouse King, wanted to stage a fairy tale ballet that would surpass all that had gone before, both in sound and in spectacle. Tchaikovsky was asked to compose the music and after Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty his third and final ballet was also a great success. It was the six-movement suite of the music of The Nutcracker that was first performed in March 1892, and in December of the same year the spectacularly presented theatrical work was also performed. The Nutcracker has become the most frequently played ballet piece of all time.

EXISTENCE is a tango dance theatre work that follows along the journey of human life—from the drifting impetus of youth to the quiet insight of old age. This journey is born in the tango, in the intimacy of the embrace, through the deep connection between the soul and the body.

A tervezett cím – Magische Töne: Berühmte Melodien aus Österreich-Ungarn, azaz Varázslatos hangok: híres dallamok az Osztrák–Magyar Monarchiából – utal arra, hogy a művész ezúttal a külföldön legismertebb magyar komponisták, köztük Goldmark Károly, Lehár Ferenc, Kálmán Imre népszerű műveiből válogat.

The peerless opera diva of our time, Anna Netrebko has enjoyed several triumphs at Müpa Budapest since her first visit in 2016. Although she has collaborated with the conductor Michelangelo Mazza on many occasions for both opera productions and concerts, this performance by the Russian-Austrian soprano, despite her decades-long career, still comes as a sort of debut: her very first time ever singing the soprano part in Verdi’s Requiem!

A Blahalouisiana billentyűse, a Black Circle Orchestrából is ismert Pénzes Máté 2023-ban jelentette meg első szólólemezét, amelyen minden dalban más-más zenész barát és példakép tűnt fel Tátrai Tibortól Solti Jánosig. Ugyanebben az évben megalakította a Pénzes Máté és a Zseb nevű formációt, amely az akkor 50 éves, legendás LGT-album, az 1973-ban megjelent Bummm! előtt tisztelgett a teljes anyag feldolgozásával.
