For almost a quarter of a century, the Festival Orchestra’s program series for children has brought a high-quality classical musical experience to the youngest. The orchestra’s rehearsal room not only serves experimenting with the tiniest details of the symphonic pieces to be performed or playing chamber music, but also as the venue for educating the next generation of classical music lovers.

Rethinking a previous project, the Budapest Strings are planning a unique concert in collaboration with contemporary Hungarian composers from the Studio 5+ creative workshop.

Together with her internationally successful early music ensemble, L’Arpeggiata, harpist and theorbo-player Christina Pluhar are renowned for fashioning each and every concert programme out of a unique project. For this occasion, they have chosen one of the greatest masterpieces from the Baroque opera literature:

2026. január 11-én, vasárnap 16 órától Mi muzsikus lelkek címmel Kispesti Újévi Koncertre kerül sor a KMO-ban.

Ünnepeljék a 65 éves Duna Szimfonikus Zenekarral az új év kezdetét egy örömteli és igazán remek hangulatú gálakoncerttel. Nagy múltra visszatekintő együttes számos alkalommal adott újévi koncertet. Városunkban immár negyedik alkalommal fogadhatjuk őket.

The musicians of our orchestra prepare their favorite pieces for the interactive program recommended for 0-3 year-old children. Edit Székely, the mastermind behind the series, is a flute-player and music teacher, who will make the event even more exciting with children’s songs and plays.
