Every year, a different brilliant composer is selected to direct the masterpiece, and there are no other ensembles in Hungary than the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus who are better acquainted with this work perfect to underscore the hope of a new year.

World-renowned pianist Péter Bence returns to Budapest with a spectacular new show
On October 10, 2026, an extraordinary musical experience awaits audiences in Budapest: world-famous piano virtuoso Péter Bence will perform his brand-new concert program on the stage of the MVM Dome. The new show promises not only fresh compositions and breathtaking piano performances but also a more stunning visual concept, innovative stage solutions, and a mysterious special guest — ensuring it will be one of the most memorable musical events of the year.

How did the world come to be born from chaos? How can music tell the story of light coming into being? What appears in the score when birds fly overhead or the sea rears up? Haydn’s The Creation is filled with evocative musical tricks, from which Ádám Fischer will select highlights for Müpa Budapest’s traditional New Year’s afternoon concert, one specifically designed for schoolchildren.

A Voices of the Future – A jövő hangjai Magyarország egyik legnagyobb, középiskolásokat megszólító kulturális programja, amelyben ötszáz diák vállalkozik arra, hogy hónapokon át együtt készüljön, majd a Müpa színpadán adja elő a zeneirodalom kiemelkedő alkotásait.

Jazzbois first burst onto the scene at the 2017 Müpa Budapest Jazz Showcase. By 2023, they were hosting Kaláka as guests at the Festival Theatre, and, a couple of years later, they were conquering major international festivals: the Leverkusener Jazztage, the Montreux Jazz Festival, Jazz à Vienne, and the Montreal Jazz Festival, to name but a few. Jamie Cullum also dedicated an entire BBC radio show to the band, including a conversation with Viktor Sági.

A düsseldorfi Kraftwerk az elektronikus zene egyik úttörője, nevükhöz fűződik a "robot-pop" koncepció megalkotása. Hatásuk vitathatatlan a későbbi zenei irányzatokra, többek között a techno, a hip-hop és a szintetizátoros popzene fejlődésére.

Az év vége különleges időszak: a karácsony és az újév közötti napok a meghittségről, a találkozásról és a közösen megélt élményekről szólnak. Ezt az ünnepi hangulatot idézi meg jól ismert dallamokkal a Danubia Ütőegyüttes családi koncertje.

Jörg Widmann is a musical polymath par excellence. He is not only one of the greatest living masters of his instrument, the clarinet, but also an excellent composer, orchestrator and conductor. His compositions are palatable, entertaining, thought-provoking, and inventive. His programs are harmonious and carefully selected.

It has been 30 years since Mónika Lakatos first emerged on the Hungarian and international music scenes and started building bridges between cultures through her art: an emblem and authentic representative of the Gypsy musical tradition, she has also become an integral part of the Hungarian music world as a whole.

The German-born British musician Max Richter, one of the busiest and most popular pianist/composers active in the modern post-minimalist classical genre today, is coming to Müpa Budapest to perform his first ever concert in Hungary.

A „Kökény 50” egy különleges zenei ünnep, amely már bizonyított: az MVM Dome-ban bemutatott nagyszabású jubileumi koncert teltházas sikerrel aratott vastapsot. Ez az élmény érkezik most Kecskemétre, bensőségesebb formában, a Valentin-nap meghitt hangulatában.

Jó pár éve hagyománnyá vált, hogy az előszilveszteri bulit a Random Trip rendezi a Várkert Bazárban. Most sem lesz ez másképp. December 30-án egy igazán ütős all-star csapattal érkezik Delov Jávor, az improvizációs közösség vezetője. A műfaji határokon átívelő koncerten a hazai könnyűzene legkülönbözőbb előadói lépnek fel, meglepő összeállításokban és vonják be egymást a legváratlanabb zenei kalandokba.

Those attending the early music concert of the BFO’s ensemble playing historical instruments will be able to enjoy an extraordinary father and son event. There will be an abundance of talented members of the Bach family in the program.

A Hot Jazz Band a 2025. december 30-i hagyományos előszilveszteri koncertjével zárja 40. jubileumi évét a MOMkultban. A vidám hangulatú estén a hat zenész most is várja közönsége segítségét a közös éneklésekben. A műsorban fellép a Hot Jazz Band kibővített nagyzenekari formációja, a Bényei Tamás és a Gramophonia Hot Jazz Orchestra.
