What is a service fee?
The service fee is the fee for using the ticket purchasing system. It is not part of the ticket price.
By initiating a ticket purchase and successfully completing the purchase, you are using the system. InterTicket provides the ticket purchasing opportunity and not the performance.

Can I buy tickets in person at InterTicket?
No. Through InterTicket's ticket sales system, ticket purchases can be made online with bank cards (SimplePay, CIB, Barion). Please note that not all websites connected to the system offer all the payment methods listed above. Bank card payment is available on all websites.
Where can I buy tickets in person?
Personal ticket purchase is possible at ticket offices nationwide that have a partnership with InterTicket Ltd.

Can I buy discounted tickets online?
Discounted tickets are not always available during online purchase. In such cases, contact the organizer!
If discounted tickets are available during online purchase, we indicate this at the relevant event(s).
What are the usual discounted tickets?
Child ticket
The venue or event organizer has the exclusive right to issue child tickets. For some events, the organizer may exclude participation below a certain age. Please always inquire from the event organizer regarding the specific performance about:
Where child tickets are listed among ticket types, you can choose the ticket type according to the child's age by age limit, where not, you can modify the ticket price using the discount window.
Youth, senior, student discount
Can only be used by those who have a valid ID that entitles them to the discount at the time of the performance. Eligibility for the discount is checked at entry.
Family ticket
The family ticket - unless the organizer orders otherwise - entitles entry for two adults and two children.
Group ticket
The group ticket applies to the number determined by the organizer.
How can I apply discounts during online purchase?
The event organizer is entitled to determine discounts from the ticket price. In the discount window on the cart interface, you can select the discount, after which the system automatically modifies the ticket price. Discount assignment is done per ticket. At some venues -- e.g., during promotional periods -- the discount is automatic.
Before payment, always make sure you're buying tickets at the correct price, because after purchase there is no possibility to exchange tickets or apply discounts retroactively. We kindly draw your attention to the fact that those who unlawfully use discounts are required to pay the full ticket price at the venue.
What is dynamic pricing?
Dynamic or demand-based pricing is a sophisticated pricing technology where prices are continuously reviewed and fine-tuned based on the relationship between supply and demand. Accordingly, dynamically formed prices can change over time and much better reflect the current market value of a given product or service.

What can I do if the website doesn't work properly?
For using the jegy.hu site, we recommend using the latest versions of the following browser programs: Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome.
If you use a different browser and experience errors during operation, please try using one of the programs indicated above, and enable the use of cookies in the browser!
The operation of individual websites can also be affected if the browser program's cookie settings are not appropriate.

What should I do if I can't open an auditorium?

Selecting tickets, and how do I know what tickets I put in my cart?
If you select a ticket in the auditorium, it goes into your cart. By pressing the "to cart" button, you can go to the cart interface where you can view its contents. Cart time is counted from adding the first ticket to the cart. The remaining time is indicated by a clock in the upper right corner of the screen. Wherever you browse on the website, you can access your cart by pressing the cart icon in the upper right corner of the page and see what tickets you've added to your cart so far.
Can I reserve tickets?
No. Temporary reservation of tickets is not possible in InterTicket's online purchasing system. If tickets are not paid for by the cart time expiration, the system automatically releases the selected tickets and returns them to the auditorium in a saleable state.
What bank cards are suitable for payment?
If you want to use your bank card during online purchase, you must register the card with the issuing bank.
What should I pay attention to when entering bank card details?
What is a Telecode?
Telecode is a banking security code that must be provided during online purchases from January 1, 2021.
You need to set up the telecode with your account-holding bank to be able to use it for approving internet purchases from January 1, 2021.
What is strong customer authentication?
Based on the European Union's PSD2 directive, strong customer authentication is required for most bank card purchases and electronic payment operations to identify the cardholder.

Can I pay by bank transfer?
No. Through our system, only bank card ticket purchase is possible (with instant payment), we cannot handle bank transfer payments.
How can I request an invoice?
We automatically issue electronic invoice(s) for purchased tickets in the name provided in the buyer data, which we deliver by email. If you want to request an invoice in another name or for a company, please check the "Request invoice in another name" box and provide the necessary information.
What should I do if I incorrectly provided invoice data?
If the buyer incorrectly provided the buyer information they wanted on the invoice by mistake, and the invoice was issued with this incorrect content, the buyer has one opportunity to request invoice modification. Considering accounting and tax obligations and deadlines, the modification request must be indicated within the calendar month of the invoice's performance date and by the 5th calendar day of the following calendar month. The buyer can request invoice modification in an email forwarded to customer service (interticket@interticket.hu).
What does e-invoice mean?
The e-invoice is issued and sent electronically. The e-invoice must be stored in electronic form, thus it qualifies as an original, authentic copy. If it is printed, the printed document should be considered a copy.
Why can't I request an invoice for the gift voucher?
The gift voucher is classified among money substitutes in Section 259, Point 15 of the VAT law, therefore it is not subject to VAT payment obligation. The sale of money substitute instruments does not qualify as product sales, thus is exempt from invoice issuance obligation, provided that an accounting document is issued about the transaction. It's not possible to subsequently modify the issuer document data issued when purchasing gift vouchers.
I want to buy tickets but don't have a bank card suitable for transactions - where can I buy with cash?
At the bottom of the www.jegy.hu website, you can find the list of ticket selling points connected to the InterTicket system as Partners. The link shows Budapest offices by default, but you can filter by county using the dropdown menu.
Personal ticket purchase is possible at Partner offices, but please note that among the events available on the jegy.hu website, there may be some for which our ticket office partners do not sell tickets.
Before visiting one of our partner ticket offices, please arrange by phone with the given office (find out if they sell tickets for the desired performance and also inquire about the office's opening hours)!
Can I pay with a Széchenyi Recreation Card during online purchase?
Yes, if the given event falls within the circle permitted by Government Decree 76/2018 (IV. 20.) and the event organizer enables it (contracts with a SZÉP card issuer and allows SZÉP card payment for the given performance).
Transactions created during SZÉP card acceptance are considered legal transactions between the SZÉP card holder and the Organizer (InterTicket Ltd. only provides the ticket sales system as software during the transaction, does not participate in the sales either as an agent or consignee, accordingly does not get involved in legal disputes related to SZÉP card operations between the cardholder and the Organizer or the financial institution, all liability related to such disputes is excluded).
For events purchasable with SZÉP card -- on the Cart page -- SZÉP card appears as a payment option. The purchase will be successful if the usable amount available on the SZÉP card fully covers the value of the selected products added to the cart, as there is no possibility for partially SZÉP card, partially bank card payment.

When is the purchase completed?
Your ticket purchase is considered final if the payment transaction is successful and the tickets receive sold status in the ticket system.
In case of successful purchase, the purchase details are displayed on the Jegy.hu website, and then InterTicket's system automatically notifies you by email.
If you don't receive this email confirmation within 1 hour, we recommend checking your Spam/Promotional folders. If you cannot find the confirmation email, please DO NOT initiate a new purchase, but contact our customer service through the chat available on the Jegy.hu site, or send an email to interticket@interticket.hu !
We will resend the confirmation email upon request. The successful completion of the purchase does not depend on sending the confirmation email. Communication errors can also cause you not to receive confirmation. In this case too, please contact customer service!
How can I pick up my tickets if I received an Admission Voucher?
In the case of admission vouchers, after purchase we send a purchase confirmation email to the provided email address, from which the admission voucher can be downloaded. Please print this admission voucher! On the day of the performance, you can pick up the purchased ticket/season ticket at the venue's box office by presenting the printed admission voucher.
Can someone else pick up my tickets if I received an Admission Voucher after purchase?
By presenting the Admission Voucher received during online purchase at the venue's ticket office, persons other than the buyer can also pick up the tickets. The ticket office gives out the tickets after checking the Admission Voucher appearing in the confirmation. Personal identification does not occur at the ticket office.
If I bought an Admission Voucher but want to give tickets as a gift, or want to receive the tickets earlier, can I pick them up earlier than the time indicated in the confirmation?
There is no possibility for early pickup of tickets at InterTicket. If you want to give the purchased tickets as a gift, give the Admission Voucher to the gift recipient or contact the ticket issuer (organizer) / theater ticket office, organizing department. If according to the ticket office or organizing department, tickets can be picked up earlier, you can do this personally by presenting the Admission Voucher during the ticket office's opening hours. Please note that not all venues allow earlier pickup of tickets!
What should I pay attention to when buying E-tickets?
In the case of e-tickets, after purchase we send a purchase confirmation email to the provided email address, from which the e-ticket can be downloaded. If you click on the orange-colored "printable tickets" link in the purchase confirmation email, then in the window that opens, you can download the e-ticket in PDF format by clicking on the downward arrow next to the ticket data.
A suitable program is needed to open the PDF document.
The e-ticket is a full-value electronic ticket that entitles entry when presented on an electronic device or in printed form. The number sequence and barcode/QR code on the e-ticket contains all information related to the order, making the ticket identifiable, so no other security features are needed. The barcode/QR code is electronically verified at the event venue upon entry.
Please ensure that under no circumstances do you allow unauthorized persons to make copies of your e-ticket!
The barcode reader system cannot distinguish between copied and original barcodes/QR codes, so they always accept the first scanned e-ticket as the original ticket. All subsequent e-tickets with the same barcode/QR code are considered copies, i.e., invalid tickets.
What does mobile ticket cover?
The mobile ticket can be opened from the purchase confirmation email by clicking the "mobile tickets" button. The mobile ticket contains all the data of the admission ticket (venue, performance title, auditorium, sector, row, seat, QR code/barcode). You can present the mobile ticket on an electronic device at entry -- the basic requirement for presenting the ticket is having a working internet connection. However, the entry system cannot read a screenshot of the ticket.
Can tickets be presented on phones during entry?
Yes, tickets presented on smartphones are also accepted during entry. The entry system cannot handle screenshots of tickets.
What should I do if I didn't receive confirmation?
If after the bank card payment transaction the system notifies you of successful purchase, it immediately sends a confirmation to the email address you provided. If you don't receive this confirmation within 1 hour, please DO NOT initiate a new purchase, but contact our customer service, which is available through chat on Jegy.hu sites (live on weekdays from 9 AM to 8 PM, weekends, non-working days and holidays from 10 AM to 7 PM) or send an email to interticket@interticket.hu . We will resend the confirmation upon request. The successful completion of the purchase does not depend on sending the confirmation. Communication errors can also cause you not to receive confirmation. In this case too, please contact customer service!
What should I do if I lost my confirmation?
If you lost the confirmation email, please contact our customer service, and after identifying the purchase, we will send you the confirmation again.
What should I do if I lost my admission tickets bought at a ticket office or theater box office?
If you cannot present your tickets at the performance venue for any reason, you are not entitled to enter the event. For security reasons, already issued tickets cannot be reprinted multiple times. Please note that the person presenting the original ticket has the right to enter the event.
Can I return or exchange tickets?
Ticket purchase cannot be modified, deleted, or withdrawn. Exchange is not possible. Return or exchange can only be initiated in case of canceled performances according to conditions specified by the theater or organizer.
What can I do if I missed the performance date?
The system collects the selected tickets in a shopping cart, where the ticket data can be re-checked: what, where, when it's for and how much it costs. Please carefully check that the tickets you actually wanted have been added to the shopping cart, because we cannot correct any mistakes!
How do I know if a performance is canceled?
If a performance is canceled, we notify the affected ticket buyers at the email address provided during purchase about the possibilities for ticket return or further use, as soon as we receive them in official form from the event organizer. Actions related to canceled performances are always determined by the theater or event organizer.
In case of canceled performances, the service fee is refunded, except if due to war, rebellion, terrorist act, strike, accident, fire, blockade, flood, epidemic authority decision, measure or recommendation, natural disaster, serious energy supply disruption, or other unforeseen and unavoidable obstacle that falls outside the scope of the Buyer or Service Provider, either of them is unable to fulfill some contractual obligation. The organizer decides about replacing the canceled event and provides coverage for compensation. In the absence of this, InterTicket is not obligated to refund the ticket purchase price. InterTicket provides the ticket purchasing opportunity, not the performance.
How does the credit work?
In case of canceled performances, the process, location, and deadline for ticket refunds are decided by the event organizer, and the event organizer is responsible for its implementation. If the event organizer doesn't order otherwise, in case of canceled performances, ticket price refunds occur as follows:
What happens in case of outdoor performances if it rains on the day of the performance?

Information about Jegy.hu Gift Vouchers
Redemption: The Jegy.hu gift voucher can be used on the www.jegy.hu website for ticket purchases for all programs available in the system (theater, concert, festival, sports), except certain highlighted sports events listed on mlsz.jegy.hu. The voucher cannot be used on InterTicket Ltd.'s cafeteria sites (kultura.jegy.hu and sport.jegy.hu).

The value of purchased tickets is deducted from the amount on the gift voucher. If the value of purchased tickets doesn't reach the usable amount on the gift voucher, the unused amount can be spent later. If the purchase amount is higher than the usable amount on the gift voucher, you can settle the remaining amount with a bank card. Multiple gift vouchers can be used in one order. In this case, the voucher amounts are added together. If you want to use multiple gift vouchers at once, you need to validate them one by one.
Limitations: The Jegy.hu gift voucher can only be used on the www.jegy.hu website. Please note that after entering a voucher code and clicking the "Validate" button, the system will lock the entered code for 30 minutes for security reasons. If you try to redeem the gift voucher again during this time interval, you will receive an error message.
After finalizing payment, it's not possible to apply the gift voucher retroactively. The gift voucher cannot be topped up with money, sold, or exchanged for cash. The gift voucher activates within 1 hour of purchase at the latest. The voucher is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase, with no possibility of extension.
Gift voucher loss: Please take care of the PDF sent by email and the code on it, because Jegy.hu (InterTicket Ltd) assumes no responsibility for damages resulting from gift voucher loss. Furthermore, we assume no responsibility if the code is stolen or used without your permission.
