Matt Simons (VIP) / BTF 2017

Brooklyn-born singer-songwriter, Matt Simons released his first album entitled Pieces in 2012. Lacking any support and proper background, he started promoting the album on the internet with his own means and was the most surprised by the sudden success he achieved. Taken from the album, the single With You was used as the theme song of a Dutch soap opera and thus it was inevitable for Simons to take Europe by the storm. The real breakthrough came thanks to Catch & Release, or more precisely its remix courtesy of Dutch deep house duo Deepend, which reached the top of the radio charts in numerous countries – including Hungary. Known for his stunning voice and amazing skills on the piano, Matt Simons' first appearance in Budapest will take place on 11 April at the Akvárium, as part of the Budapest Spring Festival!An event jointly organized with Akvárium Klub.
