The Kossuth prize winning actor issued his first record twenty-five years ago; it included the now legendary song Lövölde Square. Besides this very popular album, András Kern has made several records, the latest one entitled Semmi baj (No problem) appeared in 2010.
Besides the very popular older songs there will be newer ones and of course many stories and much humour, as we have come to expect from András Kern. András Kern has sung with Judit Hernádi on several occasions and they issued a joint record entitled “Kernádi”. The extremely popular star will sing duets and solos during the evening.
Gábor Heilig was the musical director on almost all of Kern’s records, the composer and lyric writer of several of his songs. He will produce the musical part of the evening, lead the band and of course, besides playing the guitar, he will sing too.
András Kern has played many parts together with Barbara Hegyi, but this is the first time they will sing together live in concert.
Apart from being an excellent actor, Béla Fesztbaum is a great musician; he plays piano and sings and will display both his talents during the evening.
The songs will be accompanied by an expanded version of Iván Gátos’s band of outstanding musicians.
The excellent artists, the wonderful stories, the acerbic humour in both the songs and the prose, all guarantee that the evening will fulfil the old yearning of the audience.
