Pursuing happiness, love and affection through countless adventures across this great wide world, but still eventually finding a final peace in the arms of his beloved, Peer Gynt is one of the most complex characters in 19th-century drama.

Gyermektáncházba várjuk az érdeklődőket a Nemzeti Táncszínházban vasárnaponként 10:00-tól 11:30-ig. A programban moldvai és gyimesi népzene és néptáncok, énekes népi játékok, népmesék, a legkisebbek számára ölbeli játékok és kézművesség szerepelnek. Az esztendő menetét mondókákkal, a népszokások megelevenítésével követjük.

While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.

London City Ballet, the former resident company of Sadlers Wells, returns after a staggering inaugural year that included a global tour through Asia, America and Europe. This season delivers a brand-new repertoire showcasing artists rarely seen in the UK.

Sándor Weöres’s literary piece entitled Psyche was the inspiration behind this dance performance, which presents the desperate struggle of a strange woman, blessed with a boundless desire for freedom, for the completeness of her love and her life.

Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.

When I was young, before I discovered the Art of Dance and became fully devoted to it, I was fascinated by drawing. Today I keep this same preoccupation in what I call, in my work, my taste for the construction of the gesture and its setting in space. Where I leave, where I am going, what will be my path … I probably kept this unspeakable taste to leave the trace of the artistic gesture coupled with a concern of the heart, the relationship to time.

Itt ideje volt az éneknek, a táncnak, a születésnek és a meghalásnak… Óriás-gyermekek apáink, nagyapáink válláról szemlélték a világot. Mi is ezt a régről jövő tudást szeretnénk közvetíteni az ő segítségükkel, táncban, muzsikában megmutatva.
