GULAG
„Twelve kilometers – that’s twelve thousand meters, sixteen thousand steps at least! Great God! How can we make such a journey??!”
(RÓZSÁS János:Bitter Youth, excerpt)
Performed by: GAÁL Dániel, GYULAI-ZÉKÁNY István, HEVESI László, HORKAY Barnabás, KOTORMÁN Ábel, MÁRFI Márk, NAGY Henrik
Choreographer: BARNA Lilla
NOWADAYS
The choreographer’s work was inspired Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in A minor. The piece is made up of four movements, and allows us to discuss topics that, though they may be a part of our everyday lives, we do not want to accept. Dance is the perfect form to stage them.

RED HORSE
The choreography was based on Arvo PÄRT’s musical adaptation of Robert BURNS’ poem: My Heart’s in the Highlands.
„My heart’s in the Highlands, my heart is not here,
My heart’s in the Highlands, a-chasing the deer;
Chasing the wild-deer, and following the roe,
My heart’s in the Highlands, wherever I go.”
Cast: RUSCSÁK Péter, HERMAN Flóra
